When we think about make-up, there are two main approaches. The first approach is to buy a foundation, concealer, lipstick, and start experimenting with different shades. The second approach is to buy only one product and use it as everything. The latter could be a cheaper option for those who are just starting out with makeup or on a budget. If you are starting out dating and want to try different looks then perhaps trying one new thing at a time is a good way to start.
There are plenty of options when it comes to cheap face makeup products. For example, you could use a tinted moisturizer or BB cream as your foundation; then use blush and bronzer for contouring; then use lip gloss as your lip colour; finally, top off your look with some mascara and eye shadow for the perfect eye look!

Buy the generic brand of your favourite beauty products
A lot of beauty products are overpriced and offer little to no difference in quality. It is cheaper to buy the generic brand of your favourite beauty product rather than the expensive one you always buy.
I’ve found myself spending a lot on my favourite beauty products without realizing and I don’t know if it is worth it. It turns out that there are a lot of different brands that offer the same quality for less. So why not just save money and buy the generic brand instead?
Watch out for magazines with free products
Often there are magazines available for a couple of pounds that have good free products inside worth more than the magazine itself! By keeping an eye out for these you can save a lot of money and try new items too!
Vouchers online and in-store magazines
Have you seen the online tips from different retailers and the free magazines they offer? There are often vouchers in these for their newest products!
For the small effort of looking online or picking up a free magazine, you can save money easily!
Break down gift sets in the sales
In the sales after Christmas or at the end of the summer there are often gift sets reduced so they can make way for new stock. Check the value of the products inside, there are many times you can get a great bargain just because they are moving summer stock aside for the Christmas gift sets etc.
Check pound shops
Have you ever noticed makeup in pound shops? It is often from good brands but just the colours they have discontinued or changed the name of! This is a great way to buy a good brand for a fraction of the price merely because they have decided now that Luscious red should be renamed Ruby Red for example!
